Ann
Whitehead grew up in London and studied medicine at Guy's Hospital Medical
School. For many years she has combined painting with her career as a GP
and medical writer. She is a member of the Medical Art Society and is a
committee member of the United Society of Artists. She exhibits regularly
in London and had a successful two-artist exhibition in Holy Trinity, Kensington
in 2004. Several of her paintings have been purchased by Harvard University.
Ann Whitehead is married to fellow doctor and artist Peter
Whitehead. She lives in London and has two grown-up daughters. |
